A direct cremation is an immediate cremation without any additional services or ceremonies. This option provides families with a more affordable, flexible, and simple way to honor their loved ones after their passing.

The legal authority to sign-off on the cremation of a deceased person typically follows a specific order of priority: Spouse, Adult children, then Parents of the deceased. This may vary depending on the laws of the jurisdiction.
Timing can vary based on a number of factors, but we generally advise our families that you will receive the cremated remains within 10 days. Death certificates can often take longer.
Yes, all cremations are performed on an individual basis.
Once we have vital information for your loved one, we file for certified death certificates with the locality where your loved one passed. These are processed and in most cases will be available with your loved one’s ashes, though they can be mailed directly to you. We generally advise 2–3 weeks.
Yes we are! We carry all the same licenses and registrations as a traditional funeral home. Our funeral home locations are at 1600 Stuyvesant Avenue in Union New Jersey and 323 Avenue U in Brooklyn New York.
